The brutality of ignorance

The brutality of ignorance: Oil painting over wood.

The fear, the ignorance and the lack of education have always been imposed from the strongest to the weakest, like a cruel and bloody beast.

On the front, there is the symbol of any army: a soldier. Next to him, the scared mother and her son who try to reason in front of the indifference.

Further on the right, between loose stones there are deaths and wounded. The books are on the floor. The knowledge is insignificant. The science and culture are represented by balls that roll down and roll back the disgrace.

On the left there is a dead tree. The nature and the wealth are devastated.

Villages and nations that have been destroyed. From the resulting smoke a feminine figure is born: the history who is dressed in bloody red colour!

The figure stretches out her arm holding a H: the repeated history, a H vocal in all languages while she wears a ribbon with the records of the history of so many misery.

On the horizon there is a refugees column, a mass exodus to a new better dawn.

On the sky, there is an accusing glance which is not exempted of weeping: the human global soul that reproaches us with scorn and shame.
