Ars Lapidis (to Martin’s family): Oil painting over wood.
The personal universe made with the stonemason tools of the big arcane of the universe.
On the depth there are a lot of moons to mean the passing of time. On the right, there are three significant planets, two of them are warm and the other is subdued: they are the familiar orbit.
The circadian arch of the sun passage, the life’s reiteration.
On the centre, the works. On the left there is the Roman temple which is an excellent engineered, powerful and restrained. Then on the right, there is the Greek temple which is the conjunction between elegance, harmony and art.
In the middle there is the 4 towers symbolisation of the Sagrada Famíila which is the sublimation of the current stone architecture.
There is the Tree of Life, the fullness. Below the unavoidable Tree of Death. Then the stairs, a symbol of growth, evolution and overcoming: the disciple points at upstairs to show to Grand Master where they will find the great protector.
Further to the right, you can see two geometric figures: these represent the knowledge and the spatial understanding of the stonemasons, who were given by the related lodges.
On the bottom, there is the life’s grid where we are all deep into and you can appreciate some tools and small broken pieces.
In the front, there is the statue which is represented by the Grand Master and his disciple. And then, between the clouds and hills, there is a nude, transparent and clear image: the beauty.
